About Trilogy
This trilogy saga is inspired by true events that took place between 1994 and 2006. It follows the journey of Daniel Sagar, a young man from York City in England, who lands a dream job in Hong Kong just before the turn of the century and the territory's handover to communist-ruled China.
However, before leaving for Asia, forces of nature alter his trajectory, intertwining his fate with the daughter of the territory's governor and a murder that occurred a year prior. This encounter thrusts him into direct conflict with secret societies, corrupt officials, and a Taiwanese billionaire.
Compelled by superstitions and guided by these forces, Daniel seeks the truth, risking everything—including the relationships with those he loves—for a girl who is dead but has become his muse.
Set against the backdrop of a rapidly globalizing world rife with corruption and cultural change, can Daniel uncover the truth before the serpent within him drives him to insanity?
